1. ARRANGEMENT OF YOUR JERK ORDER
1.1 ‘We’, ‘us’, ‘the business’ are JR Linton Electricals, t/a Jerk Online, 7 Priory Hill, Wembley, Middlesex, England HA0 2QF, UK VAT Registration No. GB106747611 and 'you', 'the customer' are the person detailed on the order receipt and/or detailed on the credit/debit card used to make the purchase.
1.2 This arrangement becomes in effect the minute we deduct the sale amount from your debit/credit card or take your order.
1.3 This arrangement includes any correspondence between you and the business and includes the products/services offered on our website or menu.
2. PLACING A JERK ORDER
2.1 Browse our Jerk menu pages and select your chosen Jamaican Jerk meal.
2.2 Complete the order form in full and follow our detailed instructions on the website or call us on 0207 183 1005 and sales team will take your order.
3. NEXT STEPS
3.1 Once the order has been confirmed, including your delivery address; it will be passed onto the Jamaican Jerk chef who will start cooking your meal in the Jamaican Jerk Drum. We will immediately deduct the price advertised for your selected Jerk meal(s) and charge this amount to your nominated debit/credit card.
3.2 In the unlikely event your selected Jerk meal(s) has not arrived after 90 minutes. The following action(s) will be taken:
3.2.1 You may opt to cancel your Jerk order, in which case we will refund the original payment amount or
3.2.2 Request that we fulfil the order with a new agreed allotted time frame.
3.2.3 Allow more agreed time for your Jerk order to turn up – if the agreed time has elapsed then options 3.2.1 or 3.2.2 will be available to you.
3.3 Should you choose to opt for option 3.2.1 your refund will be processed within 7 working days and credited to your nominated debit/credit card used during the original order process.
4. ALLERGY INFORMATION
4.1 We do not use nuts in our Jamaican Jerk Meals or side orders, however, some ingredients are produced in factories that handle nuts.
4.2 Our Jamaican Jerk Chef cooks in a busy working environment and there is a risk of cross-contamination between seasonings or sauce. If you have an allergen we kindly ask that you do not order online. In this scenario, please telephone us with your chosen order and inform your order-taker of your allergens directly. Great care is taken in the preparation of all our Jerk Meals however we cannot guarantee that bones will not be present in our meat products
5. IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND – CANCELLATIONS
5.1 You have the right to cancel an order at any time up until either:
(a) in the case of any advance order (which is/are order(s) placed more than 1 day before a requested delivery date), up to 1 day before the order is due to be delivered; or
(b) in the case of same day orders and deliveries, within the 49 minutes* time and before the Jerk order starts the preparation process.
Customers can cancel a Jerk order by telephoning 0207 183 1005 and ask to cancel the order.
5.2 An order may be subsequently cancelled by Jerk Online at our sole discretion after you have been presented with the Confirmation Screen. Jerk Online reserve the right to cancel any order, before or after acceptance, and will notify you immediately of any such cancellation.
5.3 You will not be charged for cancelled orders made in accordance with these cancellation provisions. Any payment made prior to an order being cancelled by Jerk Online will usually be reimbursed using the same method originally used by you to pay for your Jerk order.
5.4 Any order cancelled after the point in which the order reached the preparation process will be charged to the customer and no refund will be due to the customer.
Jerk Online in its sole discretion will determine whether an order has reached the preparation process or not.
6. PRICE OF MEALS & PAYMENT
6.1 The price of the Jerk meals shall be the price quoted by us on our website next to the product, unless agreed otherwise by us in writing.
6.2 The price you see is inclusive (the price you see is the price you pay) and includes any UK applicable taxes (VAT at the current rate where applicable).
7. GENERAL
7.1 If any provision of this Arrangement is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of this Agreement and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.
7.2 The Contract shall be governed by the laws of England.
8. WHOLE ARRANGEMENT
The terms and conditions set out in this Agreement represents the entire Agreement.
